Hembury Homes Ltd has been rewarded with The Bricks Site Recognition Award from LABC Warranty for the consistent quality of workmanship and site management for the site Trehorner Park.
The new development in Lower Metherell in East Cornwall has been named among a shortlist of sites in England and Wales to win an award for high standards of construction and site management.
Nestled in picturesque countryside the site is surrounded by stunning landscapes, with rolling hills, lush greenery, and scenic walking trails. The village’s natural beauty provides a serene backdrop for a peaceful lifestyle, perfectly blending the tranquillity of rural living with the community spirit of village life.
The Bricks Site Recognition Awards recognise developers who consistently deliver quality workmanship and site management throughout the year.
Sites are chosen every month and are then further shortlisted at the end of the year, where only the best of those sites are rewarded with The Bricks development of the year trophy, one of the construction industry’s most prestigious awards given to outstanding sites from England and Wales.
LABC Warranty is one of the largest providers of structural warranties in the UK. Working in partnership with Local Authority Building Control (LABC), its combined team of more than 3,700 surveyors work with house builders, contractors and housing associations.
Sites are scored by LABC Warranty risk management surveyors during inspection visits, which take place regularly throughout key stages of construction.
Those sites that score consistently high for general co-operation with warranty inspectors, health and safety, site tidiness, standard of site management and quality of workmanship are nominated for a Site Recognition Award.
