We recently welcomed our final occupier at Hembury Homes’ Devonia Court in Yelverton, which made us reflect on the incredible work achieved on this site.
Not only has our site manager collected multiple prestigious building awards for the quality of the development site, but we have also partnered with some of the best local businesses in the process. “Having sold the site to Hembury Homes in 2021, we were fortunate, from the very start of the project, to work closely with Dan and to benefit from his expert knowledge, on the creation of these proposed new homes in the highly sought-after area of Yelverton.
“The land in question was a brownfield site, and the build was planned in two phases consisting of the building of 11 units in total: Phase 1 consisted of 9 new build houses and Phase 2 of 2 barn conversions.
“We were instructed as the marketing agents and we found interest in the development was good from the start, due to the good local reputation of Hembury, the successful marketing campaign and the desirable location of the site itself, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
“Throughout the sales process, we were fully supported by the superior customer service provided by the team at Hembury Homes. The project was expertly coordinated by Erika, meaning timeframes were monitored closely and adhered to, wherever possible. Customer choices and amendment requests were professionally received and managed by Alex and Darren. A consistently high level of site safety and accompanied access was provided by Ben, with viewings of buyers’ future homes (whilst under construction) welcomed and fully catered for. In fact, many of our buyers have provided us with excellent feedback on their purchase at Devonia Court, namely that they were impressed by the time given by both Erika and Ben during their pre-move visits and during the handovers of their homes on completion.
